Even though English is a rich language with an illustrious history, when it comes to biblical understanding it often fails to bring us to a real understanding. A very good example is the word praise. When we read the psalms we only have it translated in this one word. This has actually robbed us from the rich Hebrew understanding of the variety of praise forms. Having a better understanding of the various definitions can only enhance your relationship with Jesus Christ. Praise is definitely one aspect that is very overlooked when it comes to living a victorious life in Christ. Our faith benefits greatly, but most importantly He demands and desire our daily praise. We see in Chronicles how Father God appointed priests that gave him praise and thanksgiving 24/7.

WHAT ABOUT CLAPPING…. IS IT A FORM OF PRAISE AND WHY… WHAT HAPPENS IN THE SPIRIT WHEN WE CLAP?

Very good thought. Short answer, YES. Psalm 47.1 is a good example where the sons of Korah encourages the people, the Jews, to clap their hands. Hand clapping generally provide you with feeling of joy, doesn’t it? Ps 98:8 and Is 55:12 carry the same thought.
Why? Not that is a law or was ever commanded by Jesus or by Paul. But a lot in the Bible is written in “assumption”. If the Holy Spirit has already shown it in the Psalms and in Isaiah why repeat it again in the NT. We all wished that the Bible was written like a handbook that had proper index and chapters that followed a theme. Unfortunately it is not the case. We have to learn and obey!
What happens in the Spirit? Without getting to theological. If you read the above scripture you will experience joy and victory.
